Friday 14th June, Gymbox: The Old Skool Edition is taking over Hangar in London Fields to two-step all the way into the weekend. Cranking up the classics and skanking up the dancefloor, we’re taking you back to a time when Alesha Dixon was more MC than BGT: hitting you with the best in bashment, dancehall, hip-hop and garage. You know the drill. When I say you say we say they say make some noise and all that.
The Where
Hangar has been the after-dark destination for some of East London’s best events (even a couple of Gymbox parties in a past life… it’s amazing the place is still standing to be fair.) Now, we’re filling it to the brim of your bucket hat with all sorts of immersive stuff to revive an era when shouting booyaka was still an actual thing. What a time to be alive.
The Wear
Bling bling on the celly… heading to the Old Skool Edition? What u wearin? Come on, don’t pretend you don’t remember. We're talking off key mosch', bomber jackets, swimwear, designer prints galore, baggy jeans, timbs. Yep, its back to the 90s and 00s for our best club night yet.
